Russia puts Khodorkovsky on international wanted list

MOSCOW, Dec 23 (PRIME) -- Russia has put businessman and former owner of oil company Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovsky on the international wanted list and ordered to arrest him, Vladimir Markin, the committee’s official representative, told reporters Wednesday.

“Mikhail Khodorkovsky was put on the international wanted list,” he said.

The Moscow Basmanny Court’s press secretary Yunona Tsaryova said that the court has issued a 2-month arrest warrant on Khodorkovsky under a criminal case against people accessory to organization of attempted homicide of East Petroleum HandelsGes mbH company’s manager Yevgeny Rybin and a 1998 murder of Nefteyugansk Mayor Vladimir Petukhov.
